Happy Winter!!!

Happy winter! We haven't written since fall...just ridiculous. But, we have lots of pics to add and a little news. So here goes...Rebekah's family came for a visit for Thanksgiving and Rachel and Jessica's birthday. We celebrated with a trip to the mall and a pedicure. I've attached a pic of Katya getting her first pedicure! The girls got a makeover at the Clinique counter from their mom for their 14th b-day! We were able to go to GA to see everyone again over Christmas, plus ALL of Scott's family - minus Nick, who's on his mission in Deustchland. We did get to talk with him on Christmas day, however, which was quite cool. Even though the Mildenhall's house was NUTS with so many people there, it was great for the kids to get to see their cousins again and for us to visit with everyone. I've included a pic of the Mildenhall grandchildren - now numbering 10! Scott's mom had knee surgery while we were there and his sister moved to Utah, so it was a little chaotic, but still lots of fun. We also got to see some good friends - the Freys, the Wagleys, and Rob Holman. It was a great trip and made us even more certain of our plan to move back to Georgia this fall. Recently, we've had some snowy weather, which we made the most of - building snow men and going sledding. It was so great to get out in the neighborhood and play with everyone. Scott also went with the young men from the ward to the skiing area near here to do some more serious sledding and had a ball. We also took a trip down to Olympia - only 45 minutes away - and saw the capitol building and a very cool hands on kids museum. The kids and their parents had a great time playing. Attached are pics of those events. Jack FINALLY decided to walk more than just a few steps - tonight! Just before he hits the 18th month mark. He couldn't get enough of himself and was walking all over the house tonight. He'd stop in the middle and clap for himself - very endearing. We've attached a short film of this long-awaited milestone. Katya had her first day of primary last Sunday. She of course had a great time. This was my first Sunday in the room with her because I had to work last week. It was not as spectacular, but we'll get there. I've attached a pic of her first day. Jack will start nursery next month. Good thing he finally decided to start walking before then! Should be interesting...Hope all is well with you. We'd love to hear from you and see your pictures, too. So send them our way. Love, The Mildenhalls
