Out from under the covers and on to the web! Well we have been a trifle busy these last few weeks, but we have found a bit of time to update our now outdated blog. Big news: Rebekah had a sonogram a couple of days ago and found out that her due date is two weeks later than we thought, August 28th instead of the 17th. Rebekah's pregnancy has gone well, but she is worn out, partly because she is working the night shift at the hospital. She continues to be happy and hopeful though and is absolutely radiant. She is teaching a childbirth education class at the hospital today, and then it is off to stake meetings for both all three of us as this weekend is stake conference. We will be getting a new stake presidency this time, very exciting. Plans forge ahead for our move to Washington later this year, but for now, Scott is focusing on his school work, which is going very well, he really enjoys his instructors and the material that they are learning. We are happy to hear that Briant and Katy's hopes for this summer are improving, and that Taylor is still doing well in Africa. Scott has been released as ward mission leader and has been called to serve as the new first councilor in the elders quorum, he is excited about he calling... Again. He must have something else to learn there. Katya, jewel of the common wealth, amazes us daily with her ever increasing knowledge and abilities. Her vocabulary has expounded quite a bit; she seems to have a new word every day, and her potty training has turned from a sometimes parlor trick to semi-regular event, though she still claps for herself when she's done her duty. We have had snow for the last 5 days on and off, as it gets just warm enough to melt most of it by afternoon, but then snows again at night, it has been nice. We hope you are all doing well, and that your times are happy ones.
