Fun in the Sun

I know it's supposed to be winter, but it's been so beautiful here lately. We've been spending lots of time outside. Some of the pics are from our weekend with the Mildenhalls in Marietta. Saturday we met at the elementary school playground where Scott went when he was little. The canoeing/ waterfall pics are from today. What a glorious day...We played at the field by the lake and saw the canadian geese. Then we played with the soccer ball on the tennis courts, then went canoeing and hiked down to the bottom of the waterfall at the dam. Then we played on the playground and went home and took the dogs for a walk. We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful place! Don't miss Katya's new short hairdo!

NEWS

Well we've had an eventful couple of weeks. We finally got things finalized on our house, and we will close the 13th and move in MAR 1st. We found a pre-K for Katya! We're all very excited, and she is pictured here with her wonderful teacher, Miss Beth. Rebekah started her work at the local hospital. She's pictured here with her preceptor, Shelley. She's having lots of fun and really enjoys her job. Scott will be starting next week at the same hospital. The chipmunk picture of Katya is just after she was diagnosed with a tooth abscess. She woke up one night unable to go to sleep again, and the next morning her face was swollen. She has to have one of her baby molars pulled on Monday. Scott and Rebekah have been attending lots of concerts in Athens, including the Indigo Girls where Scott is pictured above. We went with Beth and some of her friends and had a blast. We've also been able to catch up with lots of old friends and visit with lots of family. We're having a great time. We also forgot how friendly people are in the south and just how think their southern accents are and just how much they love the Georgia Bulldogs. Good to be reminded.
